Accountabilities:
- Provide clinical and program oversight for maternal, newborn, NICU, and pediatric care teams.
- Serve as the primary clinical escalation point for complex cases, collaborating with clinical leaders and subject matter experts to drive resolution.
- Develop, implement, and maintain evidence-based clinical standards, care pathways, and educational resources.
- Provide direct supervision and clinical guidance to advanced practice providers and clinical teams.
- Partner with product and technology teams to define clinical requirements and improve tools that enable scalable, high-quality care delivery.
- Use clinical insights, performance metrics, and population health data to identify care gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Lead the evolution of maternal and pediatric programs to improve quality, outcomes, member experience, and operational scalability.
- Establish performance expectations for clinicians, including productivity, documentation quality, clinical standards, and safety practices.
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development initiatives to strengthen clinical capabilities.
- Monitor dashboards, operational metrics, and quality indicators to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Support clinician onboarding, training, credentialing, licensing, and career development initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, analytics, and product stakeholders on population health initiatives and care model innovation.
- Represent maternal and pediatric health expertise in strategic initiatives, pilots, audits, and external partnership activities.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in family medicine, med-peds, or a related specialty.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience caring for prenatal, postpartum, and pediatric patients in a generalist setting.
- Active medical license in good standing within the state of residence, with willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Experience leading clinicians in a performance-driven environment using quality, productivity, and operational metrics.
- Strong understanding of maternal and pediatric care models, complex care management, and population health principles.
- Ability to apply clinical expertise to improve outcomes across large and diverse patient populations.
- Experience with digital health, virtual care delivery models, or healthcare technology is preferred.
- Comfort integrating clinical AI tools and digital solutions into healthcare workflows.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference for candidates living in a physician compact-eligible state.
- Competitive base salary range of $206,380–$319,890, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
