Cyberspace Policy Analyst Job Locations US-MD-Fort Meade Requisition ID 2026-166903 Position Category Cyber Security Clearance Top Secret/SCI w/Poly Responsibilities Peraton is seeking an experienced Cyberspace Policy Analyst to join our USCYBERCOM team located in the Fort Meade, MD area.Conducts research, analysis, development, and coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for cyberspace operations at the national, DOD, Service, and Command levelProvides technical expertise on executive-level projects, analyzes, assesses, and develops future strategies, policies, and doctrines governing cyberspace operationsSupports inter-agency and coalition policy formulations on cyberspace issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and equities are accurately representedMaintains awareness of and reports significant cyber-related policy issues affecting DOD and USCYBERCOMPerforms analysis and critical thinking, assesses programmatic issues, conducts risk analysis, and proposes innovative and achievable solutionsDevelops, analyzes, and updates metrics to assess J3 operational performance and effectiveness; incorporates metrics into a strategic assessment processProvide substantive content for policy formulations on cyberspace issues and research authorities, concerns, and equities to ensure accurate representationProvides concise, actionable communications to senior officials, both written and oral#COSS Qualifications Required:Minimum 10 years of experience as a Cyberspace Policy Analyst or related functional areaMinimum of bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, computer engineering, or related disciplineStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExecutive-level communications skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsU.S. citizenship requiredActive TS/SCI with Poly security clearanceDesired:Maintain a repository of measures of performance (MOP) and measures of effectiveness (MOE)Evaluate an operation against MOPs and MOEs to determine progress relative to the mission objectives and end states; continuously monitor and provide updates regarding the progress of the operationDevelop, analyze, and update metrics to assess J3 operational performance and effectiveness; incorporate metrics into a strategic assessment processBenefits:Peraton offers enhanced benefits to employees working on this critical National Security program, which include heavily subsidized employee benefits coverage for you and your dependents, 25 days of PTO accrued annually up to a generous PTO cap and participation in an attractive bonus plan. Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
