Test and Validation Test Engineer

We are looking for technically driven professionals with strong experience in testing and validation, capable of leading projects and supporting cross‑functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in engineering, testing, or validation environments.
• Experience in functional testing, including:
  • Functional Testing
  • Hi‑Pot Testing
  • Circuit Testing
  • Operation of In‑Circuit Test (ICT) systems, preferably Teradyne and GenRad.
• Knowledge of ICT equipment, test methodologies, and validation processes.
• Experience in test code programming and hardware analysis, including:
  • Identification of code-related failures during visual and functional tests.
  • Use of Visual Studio for debugging and test analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of C# and ability to interpret source code to identify test path errors, failure modes, impacted files, and root causes.
  • Operation of Functional systems, specifically VXI and PXI.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, failure analysis, and interpretation of test results.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics to support diagnostics and problem resolution.
• Proficiency with object-oriented programming concepts.
• Understanding basic management practices such as work scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process execution.
• Ability to coordinate technical teams and projects effectively.
• Handling hand tools for small hardware changes
• Availability to travel within Mexico.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in structured engineering test and validation environments.
• Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
