These include Video, Commerce, Monetization, Metaverse, Gaming, Creators, AI, Messaging and more.You will write scalable production-grade code across Meta's platforms in collaboration with other product engineering teams. Our approach aims to maximize positive impact for our clients as well as the billions of people that use their products and services. **Required Skills:** Business Engineer Responsibilities: 1. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Meta's clients — working directly with them to understand their challenges, helping them integrate with Meta's platforms, and feeding field insights back to Product teams to shape platform capabilities 2. From market insights, build new products and improve existing ones in collaboration with Meta product engineering teams and cross functional partners to meet business needs 3. Understand and apply deep knowledge of products, technologies, and business to build solutions to solve for problems at scale 4. Design and build end-to-end systems and launch strategies 5. Guide workflow changes, and gain consensus from stakeholders while driving toward solutions 6. Respond and maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders 7. Work with clients to develop a long-term strategic plan, grounded on business objectives, and manage clients during integrations with Meta's platform products and ensure value creation 8. Build and manage strong working relationships with technical counterparts. Mentor and share knowledge with peers, creating a positive atmosphere amongst the team 9. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while quickly actioning feedback from code reviews conducted of your code 10. Influence decision-making through presentation of data-centric business topics 11. Serve as a subject matter expert within Business Engineering and provide consultation on domain-level projects 12. Participate in interviewing and onboarding of new team members 13. Willingness to travel 25% of the time **Minimum Qualifications:** Minimum Qualifications: 14. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta 15. 3+ years of experience building and shipping production quality code 16. Experience with open-source languages such as PHP, Python, Java, or JavaScript frameworks 17. Experience with writing and shipping reliable, scalable, and efficient code, with an emphasis on long-term maintainability, in partnership with all appropriate reviewers, in manageable pieces with relevant documentation and test plans 18. Experience with software design and architecture 19. Experience in communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences **Preferred Qualifications:** Preferred Qualifications: 20. Experience contributing to developer and platform documentation 21. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) 22. Experience working in highly collaborative environments 23. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) 24. Experience contributing to open source projects, shared code repositories, and/or personal projects 25. Client-facing experience and/or experience communicating to an audience 26.
