Accountabilities:
- Own end-to-end financial close activities and statutory audit processes for assigned legal entities, collaborating closely with external auditors and internal finance teams.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards, including IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
- Analyze financial statements, trial balances, and accounting data to support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Partner with controllers and key stakeholders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reporting.
- Support statutory reporting processes, GAAP bridging activities, and preparation of audit documentation.
- Identify opportunities to standardize, automate, and improve close processes, audit schedules, and reporting workflows.
- Apply strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes to resolve complex reporting challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and the long-term development of finance operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification such as ACCA or CPA is preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, statutory accounting, controlling, or a related finance function.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Experience preparing financial statements and working with accounting standards such as IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify insights.
- Advanced proficiency with business applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Strong teamwork capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Good project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Previous experience working with a Big Four accounting firm is considered an advantage.
