Description:

specializes in assessing, treating, and educating patients with complex wounds, such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, surgical wounds, burns, and skin tears, by developing personalized care plans, cleaning wounds, applying appropriate dressings, monitoring healing progress, and providing patient education on wound care management to promote optimal healing and prevent complications; they often collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred

  • Licensure: Current Licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut

  • Certification: BLS (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience: Acute care, Medical-Surgical, Wound Care

Work Schedule

Per Diem/Day Shift

Monday -Friday 8 am to 4:30
