Accountabilities:

    • Facilitate design thinking workshops and collaborative sessions with stakeholders to define problems, explore opportunities, and co-create solutions.
    • Conduct user research and stakeholder engagement activities including interviews, observation, and discovery sessions to gather qualitative insights.
    • Develop journey maps, personas, service blueprints, capability maps, and other visual artifacts to communicate customer and operational insights.
    • Analyze current-state and future-state business processes, operating models, and organizational structures to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Translate research findings into actionable recommendations, transformation roadmaps, and implementation strategies.
    • Lead ideation and solutioning sessions to generate and prioritize innovative concepts that improve service delivery and operational effectiveness.
    • Create clear visual deliverables and presentations to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are feasible, aligned with strategic objectives, and mission-driven.
    • Requirements:

      • 6+ years of experience in business transformation, service design, human-centered design, or business architecture.
      • Proven experience supporting federal government clients or similar large-scale public sector environments.
      • Strong expertise in facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement sessions, and collaborative design processes.
      • Hands-on experience creating journey maps, personas, service blueprints, process models, and capability maps.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex systems and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
      • Excellent communication, facilitation, and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
      • Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments with ambiguous and evolving requirements.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Business, Public Policy, Communications, or a related field.
      • Preferred: familiarity with frameworks such as Agile, Lean, TOGAF, BIZBOK, or tools like Miro, Figma, Visio, or Lucidchart.
      • Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain or maintain public trust clearance.
