How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems and equipment as prescribed by a hyperbaric physician and under the supervision of the program director or clinical coordinator.
- Monitor patients in the chamber and record patient condition, ensuring patient comfort and reporting any unusual occurrences.
- Maintain operating, maintenance, and safety logs on hyperbaric equipment to ensure compliance.
- Keep patient treatment records and collect necessary data as required.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following required:
- Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Hyperbaric Tech obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Paramedic obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Care Practitioner obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for
Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
