SUPO, where required)Why this role matters:As a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics & Structures), you’ll ensure critical satellite components are delivered on time and to specification.You will play a key role in enabling ICEYE’s satellite production by securing reliable supply of mechanical and structural components. Working closely with engineering and suppliers, you help maintain quality, reduce delays, and keep missions on track.Who We AreICEYE delivers space-based intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to governments and allied nations. We have more than 900 employees, united by a shared vision: improving life on Earth by becoming the global source of truth in Earth Observation.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesEnsure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite componentsProcurement execution and strategic sourcing of both custom-made mech parts and off-the-shelves productsWork closely with technical experts to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverablesMaintain communication with vendors (supplier follow up) relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specsSupplier negotiation on pricing, freight, lead time, shortage recovery etc.Manage quality issues clearly with an efficient, practical, solution-oriented approachAccountable for mitigating in all foreseeable and unforeseeable supply risksWhat we’re looking forMust haves:A minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Supply Chain / Procurement within Aerospace, Engineering or industrial manufacturingExperience with Mech parts (metal plates, sheets, structures etc.) in terms of production, manufacturing processes, procurement and supplier managementBasic knowledge in vendor qualification, vendor auditing and vendor onboardingReading and interpreting technical documentsProficiency with using ERP systemsNice to haves:Quality management standards and certifications (ISO 9001 etc.)Demonstrated proven ability in mitigating delay risk, price escalation and logistics challengesTechnical understanding of metallurgy, welding and complex manufacturing processesPrevious experience in Satellite engineering, Aerospace or Aviation industryApplication ProcessInterview with Talent AcquisitionInterview with Hiring Manager and Department DirectorInterview with team membersWorking at ICEYEAt ICEYE, you’ll join a diverse and highly engaged team united by the ambition to make the impossible possible.
