Finance Manager - Japanese Speaking

General Summary:

 

The finance manager is the finance leader of Japan business, covering finance planning, reporting, and serve as a business partner in providing financial analysis and support to business team.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop Japan annual P&L and working capital budget following corporate calendar and procedures to ensure all parties are fully communicated and on board on the final agreed upon plan. Timely upload budget in system and keep track record of budget changes.
  • Japan monthly PL and working capital forecast update, including order/shipment, margin and expenses, AR/AP/inventory and improve the accuracy and timeliness of the forecast. 
  • Japan monthly closing on P&L side to ensure the accuracy of the P&L.
  • Financial analysis on current actual Vs plan/forecast, including revenue, standard margin, OMEX, working capital, price realization as well as causes of unexpected variance
  • Support the Japan pricing, including NPI price, annual price adjustment, ad hoc re-pricing.
  • Expense control, monitoring the monthly marketing spending within budget.
  • Responsible for Japan local statutory and tax related work with support from local team.
  • Provide other finance support to business leaders when required.

 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree and above. 7+ years’ finance and accounting related experience, 3+ years’ FP&A experience.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English and Japanese, both orally and in writing.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI, familiar with ERP system, Oracle experience plus.
  • Independent, energetic &self-motivated, good coordination and communication.
