Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR), Mission Support Division (MSD), Human Capital Training Branch (HCTB) located in Washington, D.C. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
Providing expert advice and guidance to Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) management, and employees on all training related principles, concepts, laws, regulations, techniques, and guidelines. Oversees and submits annual National Training Plan (NTP) requests for mission critical and employee development courses to increase cost forecasting, scheduling, and tracking. This position starts at a salary of $121,785.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $158,322.00 (GS-13, Step 10). Major Duties: Overseeing and submiting annual National Training Plan (NTP) requests for mission critical and employee development courses to increase cost forecasting, scheduling, and tracking. Coordinating the approval and routing of all Standard Form (SF)-182's Authorization, Agreement, and Certification of Training for OPR employee training. Managing the Financial Disclosure Program (OGE-450), Foreign Language Award Program (FLAP), and Self-Inspection Program for OPR.
