Accountabilities

    • Own the strategic roadmap for bookkeeping and accounting service delivery, anticipating customer needs and evolving market dynamics rather than reacting to them.
    • Redesign and optimize end-to-end accounting operations, including month-end close, reconciliation, quality control, and reporting workflows.
    • Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and tooling to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability of service delivery.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals, fostering adaptability and continuous improvement.
    • Define and track key performance indicators related to service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction to drive data-informed decisions.
    • Partner cross-functionally with product, fintech, marketing, and operations teams to align accounting solutions with broader business strategy.
    • Support complex accounting issue resolution and ensure compliance, accuracy, and consistency across service delivery.
    • Requirements

      • 8+ years of experience in operations, accounting services, or service delivery environments, with significant leadership responsibility.
      • Proven experience managing and scaling teams of 25+ people, including distributed or remote teams.
      • Strong background in bookkeeping, accounting operations, or financial service workflows sufficient to guide process design and quality standards.
      • Demonstrated experience leveraging AI, automation, or technology to improve operational performance at scale.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency and data integrity.
      • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
      • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
