Merchandising Operations Specialist
In this role, you will be pivotal in supporting our merchandising execution for Expedia across 11 points of sale and for our Portfolio brands (Travelocity, Orbitz, Wotif), directly influencing how travelers engage with our products. You will consistently apply online merchandising capabilities, principles and playbooks to develop engaging merchandising experiences.
In this role, you will:
Build and launch dedicated landing page experiences for promotions and merchandise relevant lines of business.
Build and schedule merchandising placements across our brand homepages and various landing pages using our content management tools.
Analyze landing page performance and suggest optimizations to improve how we present our products and inspire travelers.
Maintain and enhance our evergreen merchandising landing pages to ensure content is always fresh, relevant, and effective.
Assist in gathering information to help evaluate new product and merchandising ideas.
Support the development and tracking of project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns and initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the components, design, and features available or that need to be built impactful merchandising experiences.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree; or Equivalent related professional experience.
2+ years of relevant professional experience.
A solid understanding of how to use merchandising to drive customer engagement.
Ability to learn and master complex software programs and content management systems.
Meticulous attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to provide timely, accurate, and professional responses to stakeholder requests.
Proficient at keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and any changes to project schedules.
A foundational understanding of e-commerce marketing strategies.
Preferred:
Direct experience building landing pages or using a Content Management System (CMS).
Relevant professional experience or education focused on online merchandising.
