PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $28.99-$35.34 hourly. The full Pay Range is $22.50-$41.83 hourly. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Member Consultant Regional Support, you’ll deliver seamless, high-quality service across multiple branch locations, supporting members with both routine and complex financial needs. You’ll use your expertise to guide decisions, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful member experiences. Acting as a trusted resource, you’ll support teammates and resolve escalated issues with confidence. Your work will directly contribute to member satisfaction, loyalty, and financial well-being.

This role supports Zone 1: Bellingham, Burlington, Stanwood, Smokey Point, Marysville & Lake Stevens.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Member Experience & Issue Resolution: Deliver exceptional service and act as an escalation point for complex member needs, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Lending & Financial Solutions: Conduct consumer loan interviews, support applications, and recommend tailored products and services based on member goals.
  • Expert Guidance & Support: Serve as a subject matter expert across deposits, lending, and business services while supporting teammates and ensuring compliance.
  • Relationship Building & Flexibility: Grow and retain member relationships while supporting multiple branches with a flexible, mobile schedule.
     

Training Schedule:

  • 12 weeks, Monday–Friday
  • Flexible shifts between 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
     

Post-Training Schedule:

  • Flexible shifts between Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Up to 3 Saturdays per month: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
  • Minimum three years of experience in sales-oriented, financial or retail environment.
  • Minimum one year of experience in a financial institution.
  • Comply with Safe Act legislation, which requires annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a BECU Member Consultant.
  • Successful completion of in-house training program.
  • Excellent problem resolutions, negotiating, and peer coaching skills with the ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion.
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations that pertain to all membership, deposit and loan products and services offered including all forms, interest rates and necessary documentation.
  • Thorough understanding of the sales process and manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
  • Proficient verbal and written skills required to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work a shifting/flexible schedule at multiple sites. This will include required Saturday’s.
