Work Location: Singapore Office @ Marina Bay Financial Centre / Singapore Lab @ Kallang

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM to 5.30 AM (1 day work from home)

We are seeking a motivated and analytical university student to join our Singapore Lab team as a Data Analytics Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a real business project involving the analysis of technical service, laboratory, and customer case data to uncover trends and generate insights that support product development and strategic decision-making.

The intern will support several projects involving the review and consolidation of large volumes of historical technical cases, test data analysis tools, and feedback improvements from user perspective. The project scope originates from DuPont initiative to bring latest data analytics into water industry.

Project Objectives

During the internship, you will:

  • Collect and organize data from multiple technical databases and trackers.

  • Clean, validate, and standardize large datasets.

  • Build structured datasets for analysis and reporting.

  • Identify trends and patterns from historical technical service records.

  • Suggest dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.

  • Support the adoption of AI and digital tools for data processing and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Preparation

  • Review and consolidate information from technical service records, laboratory reports, and historical databases.

  • Extract relevant information and create structured datasets.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Data Analysis

  • Perform exploratory analysis to identify trends and recurring issues.

  • Support reliability and technical investigations through data analysis.

  • Summarize findings and provide recommendations based on data.

Dashboard & Reporting

  • Create visualizations and reports using Excel and Power BI.

  • Develop dashboards that enable efficient monitoring of key metrics.

  • Present project findings to technical and business stakeholders.

Digital & AI Tools

  • Explore the use of approved AI tools to improve data cleaning and analysis efficiency.

  • Support automation of repetitive reporting tasks.

Project Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineers, scientists, and technical service teams.

  • Participate in project discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.

  • Assist in documenting project outcomes and lessons learned.

Who We're Looking For

  • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science / Business or Data Analytics / Data Science / Engineering (Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.) with classwork in data analysis and statistics / Statistics / Information Systems

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage large datasets

  • Good written and verbal communication skills

  • Preferred - Experience with data visualization and familiarity with AI-tools
