From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.Job DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityPerform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methodsAnalyze/prep samples and QC for routine testingReview, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performedPerform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine workRead, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC departmentPrepare standard solutions and other reagents as neededUse word processor and spreadsheet programs on PCDispose of all chemical wastes using approved methodsConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedThis position is full-time, Sun-Thurs, 7am-3:30pm, with overtime as required. Training will be M-F, 7am-3:30pm.QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree. Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorshipIdeal Candidates will have:BS in Chemistry, with some analytical Chemistry classes Previous lab experience is a plusExperience with instrumentation is a plus, including LC/MS or GC/MSEnvironmental Science coursework or experience is a plus, but is not required Additional InformationPay rate: $18-19/hour Please note - Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) provides a compensation range for informational purposes, the actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill set, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.As a Eurofins employee, you will become part of a company that has received national recognition as a great place to work.
