Duties: Lead the product strategy and execution for the shopper (courier) experience for Uber Grocery & Retail. Understand the needs of our Earners, potential Earners, as well as various lines of business to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for your product area. Ensure that couriers are sufficiently prepared to handle complex orders and be able to provide them live support in a scaled, tech-driven way while they are shopping and delivering. Be a thought leader for ways to ensure fulfillment success across all levers, from pricing and incentives to courier education, rewards and data transparency. Collaborating with our regional operations and sales teams to deeply understand the market nuances and pain-points related to fulfillment - and then devising and executing product solutions to solve them. Influencing the product roadmaps of many other teams across Uber that work to onboard Earners, manage their trip experience and match them with orders. May telecommute.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics or related field, followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
- Foundational concepts in applied statistics as they relate to analyzing user behavior and supporting data-driven product decisions;
- Exploratory data analysis and statistical analysis, including development of data models and interpretation of experimental results;
- Use of data analysis tools for data processing and analytical workflows, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms;
- Designing, executing, and analyzing controlled experiments (A/B tests) to evaluate product features and user experience changes;
- Evaluating operational performance through data analysis to identify improvement opportunities in product and operational systems;
- Presenting analytical findings and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership to guide product decision-making;
- Developing and defining key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure product, operational, and business performance.
