Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, Radar Platforms Technical Lead, and be at the forefront of innovation in radar and combat systems. What You Will Do

  • Coordination of assets and laboratory space resources to support multiple simultaneous efforts. Manage an operation and execution schedule, required to execute tasking.
  • Maintain onsite schedule and personnel assignments.
  • Communication of issues and priority changes across IPTs and platforms
  • Ensuring resources have proper training, equipment, and site access.
  • Drive safety, calibration & similar processes.
  • Collaborate with test architects and RPL to understand test needs/identify opportunities to use Portsmouth to integrate earlier and closer to home/TDMC initiatives.
  • Develop integration and test plans, and detailed integration and test milestones to meet program objectives.
  • Regular interaction with multiple internal program leadership and technical teams.
    Interface with customer representatives during technical interchange meetings or onsite demonstrations.
  • Contribute to proposal work estimates, biding, and gate reviews.
  • Planning for and communicating site needs to various stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with site facilities to coordinate any support needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems engineering, system integration, verification and/or validation.
  • Experience with RADAR programs (E.g. RF design, & Testing).
  • Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • EVMS certification (PM level 6 or better) and cost estimating (BoE) experience.
  • Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with SPY-6 or other naval radar programs.
  • Experience interfacing with customers.
  • Experience as a site lead

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
