Accountabilities
- Provide high-quality academic coaching, mentoring, and instructional support to students in the area of Intro to Business.
- Develop written and video-based learning resources designed to address common areas of student difficulty.
- Analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps and create targeted improvement strategies.
- Proactively engage with students who are struggling and recommend resources aligned with their individual needs.
- Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions to support student understanding and academic progress.
- Respond to student questions and requests for assistance with timely, thoughtful, and effective guidance.
- Apply research-based teaching methods and innovative instructional practices to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide clear, constructive, and personalized feedback to help students improve.
- Support the development of tutoring processes and, when needed, guide part-time tutors to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong organization, responsiveness, and commitment to student success.
- Master’s degree in the relevant discipline, professional certification in the specialty area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Terminal degree (such as a PhD) or progress toward a terminal degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful experience teaching adult learners and/or nontraditional college students.
- Strong knowledge of Intro to Business concepts and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide empathetic, confident, and effective student support.
- Strong emotional intelligence with a student-focused approach and commitment to maintaining high academic standards.
- Passion for growth mindset principles and helping learners overcome challenges through encouragement and coaching.
- Ability to create engaging digital learning materials, including written and video resources.
- Proficiency with technology tools, including Microsoft Office applications, online research platforms, and data reporting systems.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
- Must have access to a suitable remote work environment with reliable internet, privacy, computer equipment, phone access, and video conferencing capabilities.

- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from $22.25 to $33.75, with an expected starting range of $25.00 to $29.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
