The Opioid Epidemic is a public health crisis with a highly effective but underutilized clinical intervention - millions of Americans are physically dependent on Opioids but only 10% of those likely to have OUD actually access treatment. Bicycle Health addresses this gap by maximizing accessibility, affordability, and overall quality of care by enabling highly qualified clinicians to reach patients broadly and efficiently through our online platform.
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the organization around the monthly close process including preparing journal entries, maintaining account reconciliations, and assisting in financial reporting. This position will analyze complex account activity and propose solutions for simplification. The Senior Accountant will work closely with multiple departments to provide financial information to aid in decision making.
Target Pay Range: $82,000-$105,000 - Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

You can expect to:
- Prepares and maintains financial records to track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the accounting records, files, and general ledger.
- May manage the AP, Credit Card, and Employee Expense Reimbursement platforms
- Sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books (Netsuite).
- Reconciles payroll, customer and vendor accounts, and other financial accounts;
- Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides external auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Assists with contract renewals and contract requests, ensure the databases are accurate to aid in review
Qualities we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related years of experience.
- 7+ years of accounting experience.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills; experienced at creating journal entries and reconciling complex accounts.
- Experience with AP, Expense Reimbursements and corporate credit cards
- Highly detail oriented and organized.
- Free thinker/ self starter who understands the big picture
- Ability to meet a stream of constant deadlines and prioritize work.
- Proven success in working both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
This is a full-time (40hrs per week) remote position.
