Law Firm Office Services Specialist

We are looking for a dynamic, customer service focused individual to add to our team in Office Services supporting our prestigious law firm client. The ideal candidate will have great customer service and communication skills. Must have a can-do attitude, are tech savvy and able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment. This person will also provide back-up reception coverage, so must have professional appearance and presentation as you will be the "Face of the Firm".
- Position: Opensity Solutions Office Service Associate
- Location: Washington, DC 2003
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (overtime)
- Pay Rate: $22 per hour
Responsibilities:
Mail/Distribution Services
- Sort, scan, distribute and meter US mail with knowledge of current postal rates
- Ensure all projects have been properly produced and Quality Checked (QC’d) to Opensity’s standard
- Ensure clients request and the delivery of faxes/parcels in a timely matter in accordance to Opensity’s standards
Production Services
- Immediate attention given to clients entering Copy/Mail Center in accordance with Opensity’s standard of operation
- Accurately produce copy, print and scan projects in accordance to verbal and written instructions. Ability to troubleshoot technical printing challenges
- Exhibit ability to take verbal instructions while taking notes to properly produce staff copy projects
Floor Coordination/some light facilities duties on occasion
- Provide excellent client service as the first line of contact with the client
- Responsible for the organization and upkeep of various satellite copy rooms throughout an assigned work area. This includes the stocking of general supplies, delivery of paper, and basic daily maintenance of the copier(s) in that area
- Responsible for the pick-up and delivery of all mail/parcels as well as all copy, print and scan projects that area assigned to the Copy Center
Reception
- Work closely with the client's staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations as the first line of contact with the client's visitors
- Greet and announce visitors in a friendly and business-like manner
- Maintain neatness and organization of reception desk and front closet areas with various administrative duties as outlined by the Site Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1-year professional level work experience
- Previous experience in a client service-oriented field preferred
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills
- Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time
The Compensation range for this role is up to 22.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications.
