Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing manufacturing process plans, should-cost models, and manufacturing documentation for components produced through Machining, Sheetmetal, Forging, and Casting processes. The role supports manufacturability, cost optimization, manufacturing readiness, and new product introduction through close collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

Qualifications You Must Have *

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.  
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Should-Cost Analysis.  
  • Hands-on shop floor experience in Aerospace, Automotive, or similar manufacturing industries.  

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Strong knowledge of Machining, Sheetmetal, Forging, Casting, and Mechanical/Electromechanical assembly processes.  
  • Experience in process planning, tooling, production optimization, and secondary manufacturing processes.  
  • Proficiency in manufacturing documentation (PFD, PFMEA, Routers, SOPs, Work Instructions).  
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, MES (Solumina or equivalent), and should-costing tools (e.g., aPriori).  
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA, or SolidWorks.  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
