FP&A Manager - EECI - Vascular

We are looking for an FP&A Manager to join our Abbott Vascular team

In this role, you will act as a key finance business partner for the EECI region (Eastern Europe, CIS, and Iran), providing strategic financial insights and supporting commercial decision-making across a complex, multi-market environment.

The position is based in Diegem, Belgium. You will collaborate closely with commercial leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, driving financial performance, planning processes, and business optimization initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including Plan, LBE (Latest Best Estimate), and Actuals tracking

  • Provide actionable insights on financial performance vs. plan, and recommend corrective actions and optimization initiatives

  • Partner with commercial teams to analyze product performance, profitability, and pricing strategies

  • Drive monthly close activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with local and regional finance teams

  • Support development of business cases and growth initiatives, including sales quotas and commercial deals

  • Manage and optimize pricing and rebate tracking systems

  • Develop and maintain distributor inventory and consumption reporting to improve forecasting accuracy

  • Act as a subject matter expert for financial systems (e.g., SAP, HFM, Dodeca, Power BI) and support issue resolution

  • Lead or contribute to process improvement projects across the region

  • Ensure all financial activities comply with corporate policies and regulatory requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Approximately 7+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, or controlling roles, ideally in a multinational environment

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into business insights

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; experience with ERP systems such as SAP is a plus

  • Experience working in multi-country or regional roles, ideally across Eastern Europe or similar markets

  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and partner with commercial teams

  • Ability to navigate complex, unstructured environments and drive clarity and action

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
