Accountabilities:

    As RCM Applications Management Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, support, and optimization of revenue cycle applications while ensuring operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

    • Leading all aspects of RCM application administration to ensure stable and efficient system operations.
    • Managing system configurations, master files, reporting structures, and data integrity processes in accordance with organizational standards.
    • Serving as the primary liaison between business teams and third-party vendors to coordinate issue resolution and system enhancements.
    • Overseeing technical support activities, incident management processes, and helpdesk documentation practices.
    • Establishing escalation protocols and monitoring trends to identify root causes and implement preventive solutions.
    • Managing team workloads and ensuring performance aligns with established service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational objectives.
    • Overseeing software deployments, upgrades, maintenance activities, and system availability initiatives.
    • Leading application testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and stress testing, while ensuring accurate documentation and issue tracking.
    • Developing quality assurance standards and conducting audits to ensure compliance with policies and best practices.
    • Translating business requirements into system specifications and identifying opportunities for process automation and operational improvements.
    • Leading strategic initiatives, project planning efforts, and cross-functional collaborations related to billing, operations, and information technology.
    • Recruiting, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members while fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
    • Creating and maintaining departmental documentation, standard operating procedures, and workflow standards.
    • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, privacy, security, and confidentiality requirements at all times.
    • Advising leadership on system risks, outages, compliance concerns, and other matters that may impact business operations.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines healthcare revenue cycle expertise with strong technical, leadership, and project management capabilities. Desired qualifications include:

      • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare billing with a strong focus on Revenue Cycle Management systems administration and oversight.
      • Previous management experience, with at least 3 years of leadership experience preferred.
      • Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, billing operations, and application support environments.
      • Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, process improvement, and policy development.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
      • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts in business-friendly language.
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, and related productivity tools.
      • Strong organizational skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
      • Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of operating effectively in dynamic and changing environments.
      • High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer service excellence.
      • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations, compliance requirements, and healthcare data privacy standards.
