Accountabilities:
- Own and evolve the end-to-end hiring strategy, including recruiting processes, interview frameworks, evaluation standards, scorecards, and hiring workflows.
- Build and maintain a predictable recruiting engine focused on improving time-to-hire, quality of hire, pipeline health, and candidate experience.
- Lead hiring across technical and non-technical functions, including engineering, product, operations, growth, curriculum, delivery, and revenue teams.
- Develop sourcing strategies that generate strong candidate pipelines and ensure searches consistently reach qualified finalists.
- Own employer branding initiatives and create a compelling candidate experience that communicates the organization’s mission, culture, and impact.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators while creating effective operating rhythms.
- Partner with executives and hiring leaders to define workforce plans, prioritize hiring needs, and align talent strategies with organizational goals.
- Establish recruiting metrics and reporting frameworks to measure funnel performance, identify opportunities, and guide investment decisions.
- Continuously improve recruiting practices by leveraging technology, automation, and AI tools while maintaining strong human judgment throughout the process.
- Ensure hiring practices remain inclusive, consistent, and focused on identifying candidates with the strongest potential for success.
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including significant experience leading recruiting teams through periods of growth and organizational change.
- Proven experience designing or rebuilding hiring processes, including interview structures, evaluation methods, and candidate assessment frameworks.
- Strong background recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions, including engineering, product, operations, and business teams.
- Experience using data and recruiting metrics to improve funnel performance, sourcing strategies, and hiring decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable talent pipelines and employer branding initiatives that attract high-quality candidates.
- Strong people leadership skills with experience coaching recruiters and building high-performing teams.
- Ability to influence executives and hiring managers while providing strategic guidance and maintaining hiring standards.
- Experience working with modern recruiting tools such as applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, and recruiting automation technologies.
- Comfortable leveraging AI-powered tools to improve recruiting efficiency while understanding where human decision-making remains essential.
- Experience in a high-growth startup or rapidly scaling organization is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $175,000 USD.
