This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions within complex, enterprise and federal environments. You will guide the migration of critical applications and accounts into CyberArk, ensuring secure, scalable, and well-governed privileged access frameworks. The position involves deep collaboration with security, infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to define how credentials, secrets, and access policies are managed across systems. You will play a key role in shaping onboarding strategies, integration approaches, and operational standards for privileged accounts. This is a highly technical and consultative role where architectural decisions directly impact security posture and compliance in mission-critical environments. You will also lead discovery efforts, documentation, and stakeholder alignment across multiple programs. Accountabilities:

    • Lead discovery and requirements-gathering sessions with application, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders for CyberArk onboarding initiatives
    • Analyze current-state privileged access management processes and identify all accounts and secrets requiring migration into CyberArk
    • Design and document CyberArk onboarding strategies, safe structures, credential management workflows, and access control models
    • Define integration approaches for applications, databases, and cloud systems to securely retrieve and manage credentials from CyberArk
    • Develop architectural diagrams, technical workflows, and implementation guidance for CyberArk PAM solutions
    • Create and maintain Jira epics, features, and user stories to support migration and implementation efforts
    • Collaborate with engineering and cloud teams on integrations with CyberArk and AWS Secrets Manager or other secret management tools
    • Provide technical leadership throughout design, implementation, testing, and deployment phases while ensuring security and compliance standards are met
    • Support governance practices including credential rotation policies, access controls, and privileged access frameworks
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
      • Strong hands-on experience implementing or supporting CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions
      • Deep knowledge of CyberArk components including EPV, PVWA, CPM, and PSM
      • Proven experience designing CyberArk safe structures, credential policies, and privileged access models
      • Experience onboarding service accounts, database accounts, application accounts, and secrets into CyberArk
      • Strong understanding of IAM/PAM concepts, credential rotation, and security best practices in enterprise environments
      • Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements and translating them into Jira epics and user stories
      • Familiarity with cloud-based secret management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager
      • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills in complex environments
      • Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive technical decisions across multiple teams
      • Bonus: CyberArk certifications (Defender, Sentry, or Guardian) and experience in federal or regulated environments
