We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Administrator to drive the implementation of various modules in S/4 HANA. As a key member of the Ford SAP Platform Services Team, you can add critical value to the entire organization.
- Perform SAP S/4 installations, upgrades, patches, applying support packages, system copies/refreshes and installation of add-on software components in Cloud Platform
- Manage Application Basis tasks in closely working with SAP ECS Team
- Daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning of all SAP systems.
- Working with SAP/Vendors/partners and tune S/4 systems for optimal Performance.
- Support N and N+1 landscapes on SAP RISE / GCP Platforms
- Working closely with other product teams to meet and maintain operational KPIs/SLAs.
- Participate in multi-landscape design solutions, architecture recommendations, and client strategies for continuous improvement.
- Develop, implement, and execute SAP BASIS / HANA DB policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of SAP systems in support of the SAP applications.
- Provide Support and Guidance to the other Project and Development teams during the build, test and productive operation of project implementation.
- Setup and Configuration of Solution Manager Dashboards in order to monitor & administer the SAP systems.
- Support Cloud initiatives (eg. GCP) to setup/migrate existing On-prem SAP solutions.
Provide Production Support on a periodic 24x7 support with on-call responsibilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics engineering or closely related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with SAP Basis Administration with S/4 HANA systems
- Minimum 2 full SAP life cycle implementations experience
Our preferred requirements:
- Experience in working with SAP ECS
- Experience with SAP BTP (IS, SAC, Data Spere, IAS, IAG) , SAP GRC
- Ability to create Transport Domain Controller and administer the Transport Management System
- Experience in using Solution Manager ChaRM and CALM
- Experience with System/Technical monitoring using Solution Manager
- Problem solving and debugging skills
- Effective team player working with Onsite and Offshore teams
