We are looking to add a Client Director to our Retail Insights team.At NIQ, we work with retailers to help them understand their consumers, and to optimize their business down every aisle. On the NIQ Retail Insights Team you will work face-to-face with the largest retail players and use our solutions to help answer questions such as what is the right assortment to carry and how to optimize pricing & promotional strategies. Every day brings a new challenge when working in the fast-paced retail environment.  Job DescriptionThis is a HYBRID position, 4 DAYS A WEEK at client sites in the Edison, NJ area.As a Client Director, you'll serve as the senior leader responsible for bringing compelling, thoughtful, action-oriented analysis across major retail client accounts. This role requires a proven ability to understand retail value chain, build client relationships, and deliver insights that drive provocative conversations. Acting as the voice of the client internally, the Client Insights Director ensures alignment with NIQ’s commercial teams and fosters long-term partnerships.Responsibilities Actionable Insights and Provocative Thought LeadershipMaintain and build productive business relationships with key client contacts. Act  as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.Align with account teams to advance account strategy and commercial objectives.Drive thought leadership initiatives and deliver actionable insights leveraging NIQ data and tools.Client Engagement & GrowthManage client relationships and champion their objectives internally.Identify and translate client needs into actionable revenue leads.Drive revenue growth through renewals, upsells, and new solution adoption.Team LeadershipManage and mentor a team of Client Managers, Associate Client Directors, and Analysts.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Operational ExcellenceOversee delivery quality and adherence to SLAs.QualificationsThis is a HYBRID position, 4 DAYS A WEEK at client sites in the Edison, NJ area.8+ years in client leadership roles within retail or CPG.3-5+ years’ experience of direct report responsibility mentoring, managing and leading associates.4 days per week ONSITE with ClientProven success managing large accounts and complex negotiations.Strong analytical storytelling skills and consultative mindsetWorking knowledge of syndicated data offerings with exposure to NIQ and/or similar solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable and polished in diverse settings.Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to lead diverse teams and drive transformation initiatives.Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities. Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams.BA/BS required; Master's degree a plusTravel 10-15% expectedAdditional InformationThis role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $140,000 - $170,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
