Cardiovascular Technologist - EP Lab, Part-Time - CV Tech

Assists in performing all duties associated with preparing, performing and completing a diagnostic and/or interventional angiographic procedure under the supervision of a physician. Requires competence in a variety of equipment and technology. Responsible for all aspects of patient care in accordance with hospital and department policies and procedures. Practices safety guidelines for patients, support personnel, and themselves. Fosters teamwork through effective communication and flexibility in job duties.

EDUCATION : Graduate of an accredited radiography program or cardiovascular technology program.ARRT certification required to work in Radiology department.Florida license in Radiology required to work in Radiology Department.Cardiovascular/Interventional Radiology certification preferred (CV, VI, CI).ARRT with state license or graduate of approved cardiovascular technology program required to work in the Cardiac Cath/EP lab. EXPERIENCE : Two years Radiographer experience preferred.Cardiac Cath lab or Interventional Radiology experience preferred. ACLS & BLS required upon hire.
COMPETENCY: JOB KNOWLEDGE: ADDL CONSIDERATIONS: Organized, efficient, and multifunctional. Ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication. Ability to work varied hours and shift lengths. On call may be required for work area. ACLS & BLS.
