They interpret functional and technical requirements to design and implement enterprise‑grade backend software while ensuring performance, security, maintainability, and usability.This role specifically includes basic DevOps competencies (CI/CD, cloud awareness, deployment automation, observability fundamentals) to ensure strong collaboration with platform engineering, quality engineering, and operational teams. This is not a DevOps role but a backend engineer role with operational and automation awareness. Automated testing and code coverage understanding is must.SummaryA Software Engineer (Backend) at IFS designs, develops, tests, and maintains backend components of IFS products. The role includes writing clean, efficient, secure, and scalable code, participating in design and code reviews, and applying sound engineering principles.
