Roles& Responsibilities:
Administer enterprise systems including Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, storage, and backup platforms
Implement OS hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation
Support certificate, secrets renewal
Monitor system health, availability, capacity, and performance across infrastructure platforms
Perform incident troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server, storage, backup, and access-related issues
Manage user access, permissions, groups, service accounts, and privileged access in alignment with security policies
Execute backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity support activities as required
Maintain system inventory, configuration records, runbooks, SOPs, and operational documentation
Support change management activities including impact assessment, implementation planning, validation, and rollback readiness
Coordinate with application, network, security, database, and cloud teams to resolve infrastructure dependencies and service issues
Patching the systemsParticipate in on-call, shift handover, escalation, and production support activities to maintain service continuity
Support Expectations
Provide reliable day-to-day operational support for production and non-production infrastructure environments.
Respond to incidents, service requests, alerts, and escalations within agreed SLA timelines.
Participate in shift-based support, on-call coverage, weekend maintenance, and planned production activities as required.
Ensure smooth shift handovers by sharing pending tasks, open incidents, risks, and key updates with the next support team.
Follow standard operating procedures, change management processes, access control policies, and security guidelines.
Proactively monitor systems and take preventive actions to reduce outages, performance issues, and recurring incidents.
