Accountabilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for cloud security, Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and implementation of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Lead cloud security initiatives by identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks across enterprise cloud environments.
- Apply NIST standards and security controls to support cloud authorization, compliance, and continuous monitoring activities.
- Support the design, operation, and security of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments in alignment with Department of Defense cybersecurity requirements.
- Assess cybersecurity controls, conduct security reviews, and contribute to accreditation efforts for large-scale information systems.
- Implement cloud security best practices across hybrid, cloud-native, and distributed computing environments.
- Support containerized application deployments, cloud databases, automation frameworks, and cloud-native security services.
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, and cybersecurity teams to strengthen cloud operations and ensure secure service delivery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Department of Defense Impact Level 5 (IL5) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration, cloud architecture, cybersecurity engineering, networking, and infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF), Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and NIST SP 800-53 and SP 800-37.
- Experience implementing FedRAMP security assessment methodologies and cloud security controls across enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Autonomous Database, Oracle Enterprise Database, Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS), and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
- Proficiency with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and related cloud automation technologies.
- Experience configuring and managing cloud-native security services, including Oracle Cloud Guard.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, edge computing, distributed systems, identity management, observability, and modern cloud-native architectures.
- Must hold a DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification and a recognized cloud security certification such as CCSP, CCSK, or an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Specialty Certification.
- Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation.
