About the Role
JLL is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Workplace Experience Ambassador to support our prestigious client, Amazon, at their Dubai office location. In this frontline role, you will be the face of the workplace experience, creating a welcoming, efficient, and exceptional environment for employees, visitors, and stakeholders. You will serve as a key point of contact, ensuring seamless daily operations and delivering world-class hospitality that reflects both JLL's and Amazon's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House & Hospitality Management Serve as the primary point of contact at reception, greeting employees and visitors with professionalism and warmth. Manage visitor registration, badge issuance, and escort procedures in compliance with security protocols. Coordinate meeting room bookings, ensure spaces are properly prepared, and provide technical support for audio-visual equipment. Deliver exceptional hospitality services including catering coordination, beverage service, and special event support.
Workplace Operations Support Monitor and respond to workplace service requests through designated systems, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up. Conduct regular floor walks to identify and address facility issues, cleanliness standards, and space utilization concerns. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance, cleaning, and facility-related services. Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, service requests, and incident reports.
Employee Experience & Engagement Proactively engage with employees to understand their needs and gather feedback on workplace services. Assist with workplace orientation for new hires and provide guidance on building amenities and services. Support internal events, town halls, and employee engagement initiatives. Serve as a liaison between employees and facility management teams to ensure concerns are addressed promptly.
Space & Amenity Management Oversee the presentation and functionality of common areas, including pantries, collaboration zones, phone booths, and wellness rooms. Monitor inventory levels of office supplies, pantry items, and amenity consumables, coordinating restocking as needed. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all workplace areas. Support workspace allocation, moves, and changes in coordination with the facilities team.
Communication & Coordination Distribute workplace announcements, updates, and service notifications to employees through appropriate channels. Maintain workplace signage, wayfinding materials, and communication boards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including facilities, IT, security, and HR to deliver integrated workplace solutions. Prepare regular reports on workplace utilization, service metrics, and employee feedback.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience 1-2 years of experience in customer service, hospitality, facilities management, or workplace services roles. Experience supporting multinational organizations or technology companies is highly desirable. Previous experience working in the UAE market with understanding of local business practices and cultural expectations.
Skills & Competencies Exceptional customer service orientation with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional demeanor with the ability to interact confidently with all levels of an organization. Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and workplace management systems. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Cultural awareness and ability to work effectively in a diverse, international environment.
Language Requirements Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory. Arabic language skills are advantageous but not required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) or computer-aided facilities management (CAFM) platforms. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and building management practices. Background in event coordination or project support. Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and workplace wellness programs.
