Job DescriptionThe Opportunity: We, at Flywire, are looking for a Workday Engineer, ideally with a background in FinTech. Primarily you will be responsible for design, development testing and deployment of various functionality using Workday core toolset. You will help drive our business transformation as we transition our process and tools for human capital management. You will be a key member of the engineering staff working across the organization to provide a friction-less experience to our customers. The ideal candidate has technical knowledge which includes Workday HCM modules (Core HCM, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Peakon), integrations, PRISM, and People Analytics. They should have a strong understanding of cross-functional data flows ensuring HCM configurations align with downstream systems like ADP and Finance.You will be responsible for configuration, and optimization of our Workday ecosystem, covering HCM modules. As a Workday subject matter expert, you will be integral in the integration of Workday applications and ensuring that the value of the system is maximized. You will be partnering closely with cross-functional leaders to provide technical expertise, lead system enhancements, and ensure that every employee and stakeholder can interact with Workday efficiently and securely. Following the implementation, you will be responsible for developing Workday systems, providing functional support; updating the system to meet our needs, monitoring end user usage and performing daily administration tasks.Key Responsibilities:System Configuration and Optimization: execute the roadmap for Workday HRIS, ensuring it supports long-term business goals, and scalability. Troubleshooting Workday configuration and reporting issues to identify and fix root causes. Participates in the development and delivery of new Workday features and functionality.Cross-Functional Partnership: Serve as a technical liaison for stakeholder teams, advising on system capabilities, and automation opportunities to drive competitive advantage.Operational Management: Partners with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure configurations, and implementations are developed, tested and operationally ready.Governance and Compliance: Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality and privacy policies and controls are adhered to.
