Counsel - Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Counsel to join our Legal (Litigation and Regulatory Enforcement) team. This role is located in São Paulo, SP, Brazil.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Work on administrative and regulatory enforcement matters in Latin America, including proceedings before CVM and ANBIMA;
• Work on civil litigation and support tax-related topics, including administrative and judicial tax disputes;
• Support the relationship with outside counsel;
• Work on the company´s strategy for litigation and regulatory enforcement matters in coordination with external counsel, tracking risks, deadlines and potential exposure, assessing cases, managing budgets and reporting.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Graduation in Law (active OAB registration);
• Previous experience with litigation, arbitration and administrative proceedings, in a Law Firm or in a Financial Institution;
• Previous experience with regulatory enforcement matters involving Banking issues;
• Fluency in English and Portuguese (will be evaluated);
• Desirable experience with lawsuits and administrative proceedings involving financial services/products is a plus.
