WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
The American Red Cross is searching for a self-motivated Salesforce Business Applicatin & Testing Lead to support its Biomedical Services Salesforce platform(s).
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution of testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications. This role leads end-to-end testing efforts, including test design, execution and defect management, ensuring all solutions meet business and technical requirements. The position collaborates closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to define test scenarios, validate system functionality, and ensure alignment with user expectations. The Testing Lead establishes and enforces testing standards, frameworks, and best practices, while promoting the adoption of automation to improve efficiency and coverage.
The role also drives continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies to support high-quality, scalable Salesforce solutions. The individual will report directly to the Biomedical Salesforce Platform Director.
The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States but must work an east coast schedule.
WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):
- Support the Salesforce Platform Director in the administration and oversight of the Biomedical Salesforce Testing plan and execution
- Lead the end-to-end testing strategy for Biomedical Salesforce applications, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Collaborate with BSI BA partners to ensure appropriate acceptance criteria are properly defined and documented to support superior testing outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT QA to ensure the testing scripts and activities are capturing 90% to 95% of all defects before moving into functional testing.
- Responsible for defining test approaches, test plans, and test cases aligned to business and technical requirements
- Oversee functional test, user acceptance testing, smoke testing and regression testing activities.
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure requirements are testable and well understood
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including stakeholder coordination, issue triage, and sign-off processes
- Create and maintain the repository of test data for UAT scripts in Jira using Zephyr Scales or other like tools.
- Create, maintain, and report UAT metrics including SLAs and KPI outcomes to leadership
- Continuously improving testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance delivery quality and speed
- May support the business process owners in evaluating the technical solutions proposed by IT
- May support and lead business activities related to user experience journey mapping, use case development, and user story definition; guide business teams in establishing clear, well-defined requirements, with a preference for prior business analysis experience in requirements development.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
- 7+ years of overall experience with 3-5+ years of experience with testing Salesforce Applications, preferably with the Sales Cloud solution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information systems or related.
- Sales process experience, in Salesforce preferable
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change.
- Experience in end-to-end large scale system CRM implementations, preferably Salesforce experience.
- Proficient with agile methodology and agile tools, Jira, Trello, etc. as well as proven application release management capabilities.
- Experience in leading the development of a UAT approach, which includes writing text scripts and facilitating the execution of UAT
- Proven experience in Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing.
- Experience documenting requirements, journey mapping, use case development, user story definition in a PLUS!
Travel: Travel may be required.

PAY INFORMATION:
The annual salary range for this position is $100K - $110K. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role.
Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.
