Anesthesia Technician - Providence Alaska Medical Center

We are hiring for an Anesthesia Technician position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska!

Position is Part time, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed.

Under supervision the Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesiologists and other members of patient care team.  Functions as the operational expert in all aspects of Anesthesia equipment and duties. Responsible for providing leadership, modeling correct standards of performance, and facilitating a positive working environment. This includes direction, training, and oversight of other Anesthesia Assistant staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year experience assisting with Anesthesia care.
• Experience cleaning, stocking, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting anesthesia equipment. 
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: ACLS and PALS.
