Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Patient Identity Specialist, you will be a critical part of our enterprise identity management efforts, responsible for assisting with key daily operations. Your role directly impacts the accuracy and integrity of essential data, which is fundamental to our overarching operations and patient care delivery.Every day, you will ensure departmental adherence to all applicable policies, procedures, and governing regulations. You will perform tasks essential to maintaining precise records, contributing directly to the efficiency of our systems and the quality of services provided.To be successful in this role, you will possess meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of data integrity and regulatory compliance, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards in identity management. Your ability to consistently follow protocols and assist in maintaining seamless operations will be essential for effective service delivery.

 

Daily review of Overlays, Duplicates, Linkages and Review Identifier tasks, utilizing eMPI software in assigned Division source systems

  • Manage enterprise identity critical daily operations
  • Ensure departmental adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Maintain precise records for system efficiency and service quality
  • Perform daily review of Overlays, Duplicates, Linkages, and Review Identifier tasks using eMPI
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, manage security, and provide training on eMPI processes
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support for seamless patient care and safety

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High School Graduate High School diploma.
  • Associates Other in Business Administration, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience 
  • Three (3) years of experience in a healthcare-related industry setting.
  • Bachelors Other in a healthcare related field may be used in lieu of experience. and Experience using Allscripts, Cerner, GE Centricity, Epic, IBM Initiate, and Snagit.
  • Work experience within a hospital setting - clinical or non-clinical role.
