Job Description:

The Structured Derivatives team at TD Securities is seeking a driven professional to join its sales platform and support the continued growth of the structured products franchise. The Analyst of Structured Derivatives Sales will support the execution and distribution of customized investment solutions for retail and institutional investors across the Americas. The role offers broad exposure to cross-asset investments, structured products, capital markets, and client relationship management, while providing the opportunity to develop commercial, product, and market expertise within a fast-paced sales and structuring environment.

The Analyst Sales & Trading provides quality, efficient and specialized sales and trading support on multiple and diverse range of assignments. The Analyst Sales & Trading also Inputs trade details into trade capture systems as directed by the Sales or Trading desks. The position also ensures that all required economic attributes are captured to appropriately reflect the economic impact for which the trade was intended, positions are appropriately valued and allows for cash flows and risk to be accurately represented. The Analyst Sales and Trading ensures that all required counterparty details and trade control codes are captured to facilitate downstream operations and regulatory reporting processes accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the marketing, execution, and ongoing management of structured derivative transactions across a diverse client base

  • Assist senior sales professionals with client coverage and business development initiatives

  • Coordinate pricing requests and transaction execution with trading, operations, legal, and other internal stakeholders

  • Develop a strong understanding of derivatives, structured products, equity markets, and alternative investment solutions

  • Respond to client inquiries and provide day-to-day support across the platform

  • Contribute to process improvement, automation initiatives, and operational efficiencies that enhance the client experience and team productivity

  • Support the broader sales team, collaborating across accounts and helping drive business objectives

Depth & Scope:

  • Knowledge and adherence to the following policies and procedures ensuring applicable staff under supervision are compliant:

  • Credit Risk

  • Market Risk

  • Trading Strategy (associated with the respective Market Risk Policy)

  • Trading Authority Letter

  • Trading Supervision Standard

  • Inputs trade details into trade capture systems as directed by the Sales desks

  • Cancels and amends trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks

  • Performs maintenance to applicable trades upon instruction or notification from the Sales desks


Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting or Finance) or Mathematics/Economics

  • FINA SIE, Series 7 and 63

  • 0-3 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in financial markets, derivatives, structured products, and investment solutions

  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage complex transactions, review legal documentation accurately, and maintain high standards of quality

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg and market data platforms is preferred

  • Demonstrated initiative, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to develop into a client-facing sales professional
