Growth Marketing Manager
About FINNY
FINNY is a growth platform for financial advisors. We are on a mission to make great financial advice easier to find. Today, access to quality financial guidance is limited, not because advisors don’t exist, but because the right connections are hard to make when it matters. We’re fixing that with AI-powered tools that help advisors find, engage, and retain the clients they can genuinely help.
We've raised a $4.5M Seed from Y-Combinator in S24 and now $17M Series A led by Venrock. We work with over 1,000 firms across the wealth management ecosystem, and have been recognized as the leader in fintech innovation—winning #1 at the Morningstar Fintech Showcase, #1 at 2025 Wealthies, and being featured across the industry.
We’re based in Chelsea, NYC, building fast and ambitious systems at the intersection of data, AI, and real-world wealth services.
About the Team
FINNY shows up in the market and how efficiently we turn visibility into pipeline. Marketing works closely with Sales, Design, Product/ProdOps, and the Growth Strategy (CSM) team to translate positioning into content, campaigns, and conversion—and to make sure what we learn from the funnel feeds back into strategy.
About the role
FINNY is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to build and own our SEO, GEO (generative engine optimization), and paid acquisition function from the ground up. This is a ground-floor, individual-contributor seat with real budget and real autonomy—you'll be the full-stack digital marketer for the company, with no team or vendors to lean on and no legacy systems to inherit. You're joining right as FINNY's brand has been sharpened and the business model has pivoted to self-serve, so you'll be building the growth engine on a fresh foundation rather than patching an old one.
You'll report to the CEO and partner closely with Marketing, Design, Sales, the Growth Strategy (CSM) team, and ProdOps. Success looks like clean, trusted attribution from click to paid client; a steady cadence of SEO/GEO and CRO wins; and a track record of proving ROI that earns the team more budget and headcount.
What You’ll Do
Own SEO and GEO strategy end-to-end — content production, technical audits, content structure, schema, backlinks, and rank tracking for both traditional search and AI/generative search.
Manage paid acquisition across Google and LinkedIn, testing new channels as warranted, with full ownership of budget and ROI/ROAS.
Build and continuously optimize landing pages and run a steady CRO test roadmap (A/B testing, funnel diagnosis) to lift demo/trial conversion.
Improve attribution and lead tracking to ensure clean, accurate measurement from visitor to paying client.
Track and report weekly against core KPIs, and communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Partner cross-functionally with Design, Sales, and the Growth Strategy (CSM) team on messaging and content, and with ProdOps on measurement and automation.
Develop and execute a 6-month content production roadmap to drive SEO/GEO growth.
What We’re Looking For
5-7 years of total professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on, in-seat digital marketing experience (SEO/SEM, paid media, or performance/growth marketing).
Hands-on SEO experience (technical + content), ideally in B2B SaaS, with real ranking/traffic outcomes to point to.
Direct ownership of paid media budgets (Google, LinkedIn, and/or Meta) with clear ROI/ROAS accountability.
Conversion rate optimization experience: landing page testing, funnel diagnosis, and A/B testing.
Fluency in web analytics and attribution (GA4 at minimum), plus comfort with an SEO platform (Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz), a CRM/marketing automation platform (Attio, HubSpot, or similar), a CMS (Webflow, WordPress, or comparable) with basic HTML/CSS, and a CRO/heatmap tool (Hotjar, VWO, or similar).
B2B SaaS marketing background; fintech, wealth management, or another regulated/considered-purchase vertical is a strong plus.
Comfortable working solo as the full-stack digital marketer in a small team, without a large team or big budget to lean on.
