Engineer I - Groundwater (Environmental)
Role responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide technical and regulatory support to generating plants in the Carolinas service area, focusing on groundwater and landfill/waste management. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, developing procedures, and supporting environmental goals.
Requirements
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required, with a Master's degree considered in lieu of the Bachelor's. Desired qualifications include advanced degrees, EIT certification, and experience in hydrogeology, regulatory compliance, and landfill operations.
