We are seeking a Senior Hydraulics Engineer to join our Liquids Pipelines team — a role at the heart of keeping one of North America's most vital pipeline networks operating safely and efficiently.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure safe and reliable pipeline operation within established limits for Liquids Pipeline assets. The role supports transient hydraulic engineering for pipeline and facility operations, optimization, and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead transient hydraulic studies and modelling assessments to identify system issues, develop solutions, and deliver technical recommendations.

  • Provide senior hydraulic engineering expertise to support operations, troubleshoot system challenges, and improve asset performance.

  • Develop, review, and enhance hydraulic models, standards, specifications, and technical reports to ensure engineering excellence.

  • Conduct and review feasibility studies, conceptual designs, and detailed engineering work in compliance with Enbridge standards and industry requirements.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, support Management of Change (MOC) activities, and maintain expertise in emerging hydraulic technologies and tools.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, represent the department on key initiatives, guide project execution, and support implementation of technical recommendations to ensure reliable, competitive operations.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university; with a preference in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • 6+ years of progressively complex hydraulic engineering experience within the oil and gas industry.

  • Registered member with APEGA as P. Eng. in the Province of Alberta.

  • Senior hydraulic engineer with expertise in hydraulic modelling (e.g. using Synergi Pipeline Simulator), and experience with liquid pipeline and facility operations.

  • Effective communicator and collaborator with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, solve complex problems, meet deadlines, and drive continuous learning and professional growth.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • Limited (<5%) travel to visit regional field sites or other Enbridge offices.
