General Laborer
Job Summary
We are hiring General Laborers / Production Workers for a fast-paced industrial facility. This is a labor-intensive role supporting daily operations through manual labor, cleaning, material handling, and equipment use.
This is not a forklift-only position. Forklift operation makes up approximately 10% of the role. Candidates must be comfortable performing physical work for the majority of each shift.
Pay & Schedule
- Must be flexible to work all shifts:
- 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Schedule posted weekly (every Thursday)
- Pre-shift meetings begin 10 minutes before shift start
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor and production support tasks
- Sweep, shovel, and maintain clean work areas
- Pick up debris and assist with plant upkeep
- Operate basic equipment, including a core cutting machine
- Handle industrial materials and chemicals safely
- Operate a forklift to move materials, pallets, and paper rolls
- Read and use a tape measure
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Complete additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Industrial or manufacturing experience required
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be reliable and ready to start immediately
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Must stand, walk, bend, push, and pull for extended periods
- Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and dirty environments
