Role responsibilities
As an Environmental Specialist, you will assist division staff with reviewing, preparing, processing, and recommending actions on various environmental documents. You will also provide technical assistance to consultants, government officials, and citizens regarding hazardous waste regulations and pollution prevention.
Requirements
Candidates must have 12 months of experience as an Environmental Specialist 1 or four years of training or experience in a related field. A baccalaureate degree in relevant sciences is also acceptable.
