Location/Division Specific Information:
This is a Material Handler II role in the Receiving Department with the work shift of 2:00PM – 10:30PM. Within the Receiving department, you will routinely perform the following tasks: sample raw materials, unload trucks, store raw material in racking systems and receive in and label raw materials. To accomplish these tasks, you will regularly use motorized equipment such as Fork Trucks, Power Walkies, Reach Trucks and Swing Trucks. In addition to daily tasks, you will participate in safety, quality, and process improvement initiatives.

A Day in the Life:
- Process incoming materials, including verifying counts, receiving material, labeling material and sampling material, making them available to use in production to serve our customers.
- Work with PIT equipment to ensure inventory is stored accurately and safely in racking systems.
- Using computer systems and handheld scanning devices to accurately ensure material is displayed correctly in our ERP system.
- Work with your team to make sure everyone has a magical experience every day.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Minimum of one year of general warehouse experience.
- One to two years’ experience working with computers and basic software packages, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with powered industrial trucks.
- Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Maintain knowledge of current import/export regulations as they relate to shipment of goods to and from the USA.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
- Ability to regularly sit, stand, walk, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Close vision and ability to adjust focus required. Ability to work in a cold room environment.
- Regularly required to lift up to 20 pounds. May be required to lift weight of 45 pounds or more, with assistance and/or with equipment on occasion.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $14.41–$21.61.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
