Business Systems Manager - AI Specialist
About the Role:
The Knowledge Designer is responsible for creating, maintaining, and continuously improving the business content and knowledge assets that power AI-enabled sourcing and procurement capabilities.
Working across capabilities such as Compare Tool, Smart Intake, SourceIQ, and future AI solutions, the role ensures business content, guidance, and supporting knowledge assets remain accurate, relevant, and aligned to evolving business requirements.
The role acts as the bridge between subject matter experts, process owners, and technology teams, translating sourcing, procurement, and legal knowledge into structured content that can be effectively consumed by AI-enabled capabilities and end users.
Responsibilities:
Translate sourcing, procurement, and legal knowledge into structured, machine-readable content (e.g., guidance, decision frameworks, and business rules) that can be consistently reused across AI-enabled capabilities
Draft FAQ-style guidance, business explanations, and decision logic narratives
Provide examples and edge cases to support AI accuracy and consistency
Ensure all content aligns to approved taxonomy, classifications, and semantic definitions
Create, maintain, and continuously improve the business content and knowledge assets that support AI-enabled sourcing and procurement capabilities, ensuring information remains accurate, relevant, and aligned to business requirements.
Act as a core member of AI capability project teams, supporting the development, release, governance, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled solutions.
Partner with sourcing, procurement, legal, and operational subject matter experts to capture business knowledge and ensure business standards, policies, procedures, and process changes are accurately reflected across AI-enabled capabilities.
Create and maintain benchmark content, evaluation datasets, and test scenarios used to assess AI accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
Review capability outputs, testing results, and user feedback to identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Operates within defined taxonomy, classification, and semantic models; does not define or create independent classifications, relationships, or semantic structures
