Join our Finance team and leverage your tax expertise to support the delivery of customer and operational excellence. In this role, you will ensure tax compliance, provide advisory support, and contribute to efficient financial processes while partnering with stakeholders to drive business success.

How you create impact

Your primary objective is to support the indirect tax team with all activities across your area of responsibility while ensuring accuracy, completeness + timeliness of all relevant tax compliance tasks + processes. You will do
this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following objectives:

  • To monitor local tax invoicing module for smooth generation of e-invoicing + perform monthly reconciliation with our financial accounting system (ACON).
  • To develop + drive implementation of tax automation projects in collaboration with corporate financial information systems team.
  • To monitor developments in tax legislation + proactively update team members + management about any related risks + impact upon detailed analysis.
  • To support local tax computation, declaration + filing processes, including submission of required information with relevant parties.
  • To ensure compliance with corporate tax reporting + local statutory requirements.
  • To update + follow-up on all unmatched Goods + Services Tax (GST) input tax credits, resolving all related queries where necessary.
  • To assist in relevant tax audits + investigations.
  • To provide tax related advice on day-to-day operational activities + respond promptly to queries raised by stakeholders.

What we would like you to bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in tax and reporting, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Cambodia tax regulations. 
  • Ability to work independently, lead projects and audits, and take full ownership of responsibilities.
  • Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Well-connected with and able to maintain good relationships with tax authorities.
  • Proactive, accountable, flexible, and results-driven mindset.
