Accountabilities:
- Define, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and processes aligned with client and organizational needs.
- Build, evolve, and manage data catalogs ensuring traceability, accessibility, and integrity of enterprise data assets.
- Establish and monitor data quality metrics, ensuring continuous improvement of data accuracy and reliability.
- Implement and enforce data classification, access control, and security policies in alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Support the definition and governance of data roles and responsibilities (Data Owners, Stewards, Custodians).
- Collaborate with IT, security, and business teams to ensure effective execution of governance frameworks.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and awareness initiatives on data governance and security practices.
- Support compliance initiatives aligned with regulations such as LGPD and GDPR.
- Lead or support initiatives to improve governance maturity and standardize data management practices.
- Perform audits and assessments to evaluate and enhance governance effectiveness across environments.
- Strong experience in data governance, data quality management, or information management roles.
- Solid knowledge of governance frameworks such as DAMA-DMBOK.
- Hands-on experience with data catalog and metadata management tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation).
- Strong expertise in data classification, information security, and access control policies.
- Advanced knowledge of data quality management practices and metrics definition.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations such as LGPD and GDPR.
- Understanding of enterprise data architecture and full data lifecycle management.
- Proven experience implementing governance policies, controls, and data management frameworks in complex environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to work across technical and business teams.
