Accountabilities:
- Handle first notice of loss reports for non-complex auto and property claims while ensuring accurate and complete information collection.
- Respond to customer questions regarding claims processes, policies, and next steps with professionalism and empathy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their claim experience and explaining available options clearly.
- Gather, document, and update claim information accurately while maintaining quality and process standards.
- Determine appropriate next steps, including inspections, emergency services, vendor coordination, or other required actions when needed.
- Receive, manage, and route incoming phone calls and electronic communications related to claims.
- Retrieve, organize, and process supporting documentation, including claim files, forms, and correspondence.
- Complete administrative tasks such as data entry, file management, email communication, and document processing.
- Work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.
- Experience in auto or property claims handling is considered an asset.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal, are required.
- Strong ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain processes clearly and professionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and handle high volumes of tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills when managing customer information and claim documentation.
