The OpportunityAs a TMT Assurance - Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing independent and objective assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information, enhancing the credibility and reliability of this information with a variety of stakeholders. Within our Assurance practice, you will focus on obtaining reasonable confidence about whether the financial statements as a whole are free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error, and to issue an auditor's report that includes the auditor's perspective.
As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Leading financial statement audits to evaluate compliance with regulations and assess governance and risk management processes
- Guiding teams in the application of auditing methodologies and financial reporting standards to enhance the credibility of financial statements
- Utilizing analytical thinking and data analysis skills to identify and address potential misstatements in financial documents
- Developing and implementing strategies for monitoring and analyzing financial trends within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sector
- Coaching team members to leverage their strengths and improve performance in delivering client expectations
- Reviewing and verifying financial documents to validate accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
- Managing client relationships by providing insights and recommendations on financial reporting and internal controls
- Embracing technology and innovation, including artificial intelligence platforms, to enhance audit processes and outcomes
- Confirming data quality, security, and compliance within audit frameworks to maintain integrity and reliability of information
- Addressing conflicts or issues with clients and team members, engaging in constructive conversations to resolve challenges
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- At least one of the following: an active CPA License

- Preference for a Bachelor's degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting
- Demonstrating proficiency in Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
- Utilizing Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Auditing Standards (GAAS)

- Leveraging data analysis and interpretation for strategic decision-making

Travel Requirements

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $252,450. For residents of Washington state the salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $297,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
